Refund & Return policy

Why Knot is a small business. Therefore, we are unable to offer refunds if you change your mind about an order for any reason. We do offer store credit or exchanges for products returned, unused and without damage.

We have a 7-day exchange policy. This means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request an exchange or store credit. To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be returned in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start an exchange, you can contact us at lindsey@whyknotpa.com. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs and shipping costs for replacement items. Packing materials must be used when sending items back to prevent damage. Items sent back to us without first requesting an exchange will not be accepted. You can always contact us for any return question at lindsey@whyknotpa.com.

 
Items ineligible for exchange: Certain types of items cannot be returned or exchanged, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), damaged or used items. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on sale items or gift cards. 

Damages and issues: Please inspect your order upon receipt. Contact us within 30 days of receipt of your item if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item. We will replace any defective or broken products. When requesting the exchange, please include a photo of the damaged or defective item to lindsey@whyknotpa.com. Why Knot will cover the cost of a return shipping label and shipping of the replacement.

Cancellation: An order may be cancelled up until payment is processed. Once the payment is processed, the buyer is responsible for the payment.
